Senior Conversational AI Engineer

About the role

You'll own core pieces of our proprietary conversational AI — from dialogue management and intent handling to real-time voice pipelines. This is a senior role with significant influence over the architecture that thousands of businesses rely on every day.

What you'll do

• Build and optimize dialogue management and intent-routing systems
• Improve real-time speech-to-text and text-to-speech pipelines
• Work with the research team to productionize new models
• Define quality benchmarks and reduce conversation failure rates

What we're looking for

• 5+ years building production backend or ML systems
• Strong Python and experience with LLMs or NLP pipelines
• Experience with low-latency, real-time systems
• Comfortable owning features end to end in a remote team

Nice to have

• Experience with voice/telephony (SIP, WebRTC)
• Published work in NLP or conversational AI
